Bishop Richard Williamson was buried privately with a small number of mourners in a cemetery in Kent, England, on February 26. The requiem service held earlier in Canterbury, celebrated by Bishop Paul Morgan, was attended by 200 people. A letter was read from Archbishop Carlo Viganò. He thanked God that Monsignor Williamson suffered the stroke that [from which he passed], at home, received the Extreme Unction in time, was surrounded by friends and family, and died peacefully.
