Fr Ruiz was ordained by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in Econe, Switzerland on June 29,1985. He was the first Mexican priest ordained by the Archbishop. His apostolate is currently just outside Mexico City, serving the Catholic “Resistance” faithful of Mexico and far beyond via his internet sermons.

URGENT-Support Father Ruiz: Mexico’s Last Uncompromising Priest

Dear Faithful Catholics,

An urgent plea is being made for the support of Father Hugo Ruiz, a faithful priest in the line of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Father Ruiz must vacate his current residence and secure new housing. To accomplish this, he must raise $150,000 USD.

This moment calls for an outpouring of Catholic charity. Father Ruiz is one of the last remaining uncompromising priests in Mexico, and his mission to uphold the Catholic Faith, offer the Traditional Mass, and resist modernist Rome is more vital now than ever. He has refused all compromise with the false Conciliar Church and has not accepted the errors introduced by Bishop Fellay’s 2012 Doctrinal Declaration. His fidelity to the line of Archbishop Lefebvre is unquestionable, and his apostolate must be preserved.


Who is Father Hugo Ruiz?
