The dictionary definition for hybrid is:
a mixture of two different things, resulting in something that has a little bit of both -
a hybrid vehicle for example - combines a gasoline engine with an electric motor.
There were changes made in 1962 to the Tridentine Missal. That was 60 years ago. Rome completely ignores the pre-'55 missal, so I would imagine
the combination of a hybrid mass would include some '62 missal things with the new mass. Probably add in some of their new "saints".
No matter, it's not something to look forward to.
