German Bishop Ackermann: Women Deacons Will Come
gloria.tv | December 23, 2024
Bishop Stephan Ackermann of Trier, Germany, believes that the [invalid] ordination of women as "deacons" will come. Only "the timing" is still unclear, the homosexual activist told the agency dpa on Monday.
Bishop Ackermann assumes that the decision will not be made during Francis' pontificate. But: "Some things can happen quickly in the Church."
For him, the [invalid] female ordination would be "a sacramental and thus official reinforcement of the responsibility" of women in the Church.
Bishop Ackermann sees the Church in a "major process of change" in which there is "a lot of demolition".
"So let us be confident, let us not be unprepared, let us not be outflanked, let us be wise, vigilant, fighting against those who are trying to tear the faith out of our souls and morality out of our hearts, so that we may remain Catholics, remain united to the Blessed Virgin Mary, remain united to the Roman Catholic Church, remain faithful children of the Church."- Abp. Lefebvre
