The Catholic Trumpet: Thou Shalt Believe ... or No Oils for Thee - Stone - 01-29-2026

THOU SHALT BELIEVE… OR NO OILS FOR THEE

Dear Readers,

A new video has now been released on the Catholic Trumpet YouTube channel documenting a matter that can no longer be minimized, excused, or dismissed.

In April 2023, correspondence between +Bishop Williamson and Father David Hewko revealed that acceptance of Novus Ordo “Eucharistic miracles” had become a condition for receiving Holy Oils.

This is not rumor. This is not inference. This is not interpretation.

This video presents:

• The entire Veneta, Oregon conference (2016) in which +Bishop Williamson explicitly stated he “will not consider” retracting his claims (and doubles down) regarding benefits of the Novus Ordo Mass and so-called Novus Ordo “miracles.”

• The April 19–21, 2023 email correspondence between +Bishop Williamson and Fr. David Hewko confirming the conditions placed on the distribution of Holy Oils.

• Fr. Hewko’s written response, explaining precisely why a Catholic priest cannot promote these alleged miracles without betraying the Faith:

“Belief in the New Mass ‘miracles’… leads directly to the New Mass. The New Mass… represents a Rite that is ‘odious in God’s sight’… True miracles confirm the Truth… Will God work miracles to reinforce errors, heresy, and sacrilege?” — Fr. David Hewko

The New Religion cannot build the Catholic faith; it exists to destroy it. What it does build is a false faith within the Conciliar Church. It possesses its own false apparitions (such as Garabandal and Medjugorje), its own false rite, its own false “saints,” its own fabricated mysteries of the Rosary (the so-called Luminous Mysteries), and its alleged Novus Ordo “miracles,” which are not proofs of divine approval but deceptive signs. As Sacred Scripture warns: “For they are the spirits of devils working signs…” (Apocalypse 16:14). These so-called miracles are therefore not supernatural confirmations from God; and insofar as anything real occurs, they are preternatural signs worked by the devil for the purpose of deception.

What is presented here is not a disagreement of temperament or strategy, but a doctrinal fault line: whether miracles can be invoked to legitimize a rite condemned by the Church’s own theological principles.

This video allows the sources to speak for themselves.

From the video description:

In April 2023, private correspondence between Bishop Williamson and Father David Hewko revealed that acceptance of Novus Ordo Eucharistic “miracles” had become a condition for receiving Holy Oils - sacramentals necessary for Baptism and Extreme Unction.

In this video, it is clear that +Bishop Williamson promotes Novus Ordo “Eucharistic miracles” and denies Holy Oils to priests who refuse to accept or promote them.

Many still believe  these remarks were theoretical, speculative, or merely personal opinions.

This presentation includes:
-The full Veneta, Oregon conference 2016, where +Bishop Williamson said he “will not consider” retracting his statements on Novus Ordo Mass benefits and so-called NO “miracles.”

-The 2023 emails with Fr. Hewko confirming the conditions Williamson placed on receiving Holy Oils.

-Fr. Hewko’s response explains why he cannot promote these false miracles:
“Belief in the New Mass ‘miracles’… leads directly to the New Mass. The New Mass… represents a Rite that is ‘odious in God’s sight’… True miracles confirm the Truth… Will God work miracles to reinforce errors, heresy, and sacrilege?” – Fr. David Hewko

Scripture warns of false signs and wonders:
“For they are the spirits of devils, working signs” – Apocalypse 16:14
